The Tier 4 Student Visa allows non-EEA students to study in the UK. To apply, you must have a confirmed offer from a UK university or college and demonstrate sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay.
You’ll need the following essential documents:
A valid passport,
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your institution,
Proof of financial support.

The required funds depend on your course fees, location, and duration of study. As of May 2023, you must show:
£1,334 per month if studying in London,
£1,023 per month if studying outside London.
This amount covers living costs for up to nine months, plus any outstanding tuition fees.
In addition to proof of funds, you’ll need to pay:
A £348 visa application fee,
A £470 healthcare surcharge per year for NHS access.
Optional services like priority processing or biometric enrolment may incur additional costs.
A CAS is a unique reference number issued by your university or college once you’ve been accepted into a course. It’s essential for your Tier 4 visa application. Yes! Tier 4 visa holders can work part-time during their studies:
